Blindsided 20x20 Whitney McQuade
Whitney McQuade was born and raised in Fredericton. She is currently a full time student at Saint Thomas University doing an Honours degree in Criminology and is graduating in May. Whitney was introduced to painting while taking a ‘Concepts in Painting’ course in 2009 at Saint Thomas University and quickly fell in love. She has since discovered her passion for abstract art and feels it is a great outlet to express true feelings.
About the Painting
Whitney says, “The greatest thing about abstract art is that it can be anything you want it to be, and everyone will have their own interpretations and feelings about it. It’s all about opening your mind and letting it take you wherever it leads you.”
