Carleton Way 24x24 by Ruby Allan

Ruby Allan lives in Fredericton, NB. She has been an “artist at heart” for many years. Mostly self taught, she works in both oils and acrylics. Her attention to the spirit within her paintings draws you immediately. Currently she is studying under local artist Glenn Priestley. Ruby is a member of the Society of Artists of Fredericton and has had the opportunity to exhibit her work at various venues within the city. She is frequently commissioned to do projects for acquaintances and referrals.

“Learn to watch snails” … by SARK is her favourite quote on how to be an artist. She finds that setting personal goals helps one to grow and mature as an artist. “Streetscapes” is her favourite subject to paint, but to which she is not limited to. Fredericton has a lot to offer in ways of subject matter, and she is always searching to find the most interesting subjects to paint. She always believes her next painting will be her best painting, so one can only move forward from here on. Ruby can be reached at 457-1685 and via email rubyallan@rogers.com .
