It was January 16, 2012, and the Isaac’s Way Employees (with their dates in hand) crept cautiously into their once familiar restaurant not quite sure what to expect. They knew they had to be brave… They heard they would have fun… Yet stories of previous years, of embarrassing-games-gone-by kept them on edge. What will the night bring?
Jason and Tina wanted to congratulate the TEAM for another successful year. Great customer service and top knotch food preparation were two of the many reasons to celebrate. So what did this mean? Games, prizes, and employee of the year awards. We had a blast!
Each person had a goal of earning (monopoly) money, and at the end of the night they redeemed their stash of cash for an awesome prize. From bicycles to gym memberships, from camcorders to stereos, from camping gear to cold hard cash, they all went home with something fun. We played cherades, had a blind-folded taste test, painted some crazy quick-draw masterpieces, shared embarrassing childhood stories, and reined Stephanie Drier as Queen Of Isaac’s Way for knowing the most about her workplace! We laughed and we ate and greatly enjoyed our evening together.
Congratulations to Peter Stephen for winning the 2012 Kitchen Staff Award! And congrats to Morgan Ludford for winning this year’s 2012 Service Staff Award! They were voted #1 by their fellow employees and they both received a bonus cheque and now have bragging rights for 2012. Well deserved! As for the rest of you, looks like 12 months to prepare for the next one. Enjoy your gifts! And thanks for celebrating with us!
