Chrissie Park-MacNeil
I moved here from Newfoundland in 1997. I started painting in high school and have loved it ever since. In 2010 my landscape work was shown in a shared exhibit at the Charlotte Glencross Gallery at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre. I also had a solo show at the Gallery Connexion Annex Gallery at The Playhouse.
I now sell my paintings and also do commission work, so please feel free to contact me. I would be more than happy to talk, and take on new projects. Please email park_chrissie@hotmail.com. You can view more of my work on Facebook. “End of a Paint Brush. Works by Chrissie Park-MacNeil”.
About the Painting
I love dragonflies. They are mysterious to me. I don’t know why but they are, and that is why I love to paint them! This is a quote that I think is fitting for this painting. Enjoy!
“Clouds of insects danced and buzzed in the golden autumn light, and the air was full of the piping of the song-birds. Long, glinting dragonflies shot across the path, or hung tremulous with gauzy wings and gleaming bodies.” - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
