Lonely Road 32 x 40 by Albert "Butch" Sorrie
Butch was born August 25th,1954 in Picton, Ontario and grew up in New Brunswick. In 1978 he joined the navy, and after 25 years of service he moved back to the greater Fredericton area with his wife Judy Lynn.
When he met Judy Lynn in 2003, being fascinated with her art and the ease of which she displayed her skills, he decided he wanted to learn to paint, and has been working at it ever since. Inspired by nature, scenery and bright colours, Butch now displays his work in Oromocto at The Discovery Gallery.
