"Martini, Please" 20x24 Alisha Galantai
Alisha Galantai is an experimental abstract artist. She was born and raised in Fredericton and graduated from Fredericton High School in 2006. Alisha has always had a creative soul.
During a summer working on the street team for Fred FM, she encountered a woman and a group of children doing a “paint to the music” exercise. To help the woman gain the attention of the children she decided to join in the activity. Little did she know that this would be the beginning of her creative and artistic life.
Alisha has also used her creative talents to make her own jewelry, although painting is where her heart is. She enjoys working with different mediums but prefers acrylic. Being very interested in all sorts of artistic endeavours, she would love to someday take a sculpting course. Although Alisha has not yet had a showing of her artwork, she hopes to one day have her paintings in every home within Fredericton.
