My Song 24x24 by Dennis Foran
The artist Dennis Foran now considers Fredericton his home, although he is originally from the Little Southwest Miramichi. He spends his spare time with his two wonderful children, his family, and his closest friends. Dennis recently became interested in painting about two years ago, and was inspired to learn when he saw the wall of art here at Isaac’s Way. He started an art class at his workplace (Mental Health R.E.A.C.H. Centre) and now hangs out with art friends to learn all that he can about painting techniques and mediums. He enjoys all of it. “It has been deeply satisfying to be able to share this work with others who can also benefit from the satisfaction of creating art.”
This piece entitled “My Song” was done with acrylic. Dennis made the wooden frame for it as he also enjoys woodworking.
