Nuclear Family 10x20 by artist Katelyn Bruce
Katelyn Bruce has always loved being creative and has always been a doodler, but living in a rural area she was never exposed to a lot of art and was never encouraged to work harder or to go further with her art. She is a self-taught artist and only began painting two years ago with the encouragement of friends and her mother’s old painting kit.
“Nuclear Family” is about the twentieth painting that she has completed to date. “Nuclear Family was an idea that came to me while I was watching the clouds on a stormy night in mid-October. I draw my inspiration from my mind, surroundings, and experiences.”
