Rainy Day... 24x24 Dawn Steeves
My name is Dawn Steeves. I am a painter and digital artist. I live in Fredericton, NB.
I have been very fortunate to have received my formal training from Stephen MacDougall, Alex McGibbon, and Philip Iverson. I attended the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. I have since then, several times, taken myself to school; reading, practicing, painting, sketching, reading some more. I have the opportunity to make a living in an industry which keeps me immeshed in the world of art. Some of my paintings have been shown at the Marilyn Mazerolle Studio in Fredericton, NB.
My partner Michael (also an artist), and my 3 children Ceilidh, Gwyn and Erin give me a lot of encouragement. I also have a lot of support from friends and family. Thank you guys!
This painting, “Rainy Day…” was done on Saturday, October 1, 2011 as part of “Culture Days” inside of Isaac’s Way Restaurant. We had a lot of fun! Hope YOU enjoy!
