The artist Angel Mena Terry is originally from Havana. Angel is a self taught painter and also a photographer. He graduated from Niigaik Institute, USSR in 1987, and then immigrated from Cuba to Canada in 1995, bringing with him tropical colours and shapes into otherwise peaceful Canadian scenes.
