Artist Statement – Len Leger
I live in Hanwell, NB with my wife of 38 years and we have three children, four grandchildren. In the past I’ve used my artistic skills while working at Sears as a visual merchandiser and at Universal Signs. I started painting in 2005 after receiving a gift from my wife – one month of instruction from Danny Price – and I have loved it ever since. I am now a member of The Fredericton Society of Artists and I enjoy painting with The Turps.
This painting entitled “The Old Guard” is being auctioned off in the Isaac’s Way Art Auction for theatre camp for underprivileged children in the area. Such a great initiative to help kids in our community!
