Laurie Winter is an accomplished artist working in acrylic, oil, and her favorite, watercolour. She has returned to her native province New Brunswick after working in banking, raising a family, finessing her craft and exhibiting in and near Calgary, Alberta.
Attending Art classes at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, as well as week long seminars with well known artists and teachers from the Western States and Canada, has given her realistic art style a deepness of colour and brilliance that sets her work apart.
Her paintings have been exhibited in juried shows throughout Alberta, British Columbia and New Brunswick, and can be found in homes and businesses across Canada, Australia, Germany, USA, Western Europe and Japan.
At the present time, she is working in a shared studio, called Studio 202, at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre in Fredericton, painting a variety of subjects, including local and provincial scenes, still life and florals.

I appreciate Laurie Winter’s work and the piece “Time for Sundowners” I especially like. Unfortunately, as a senior citizen on OAS pension, I cannot afford to bid. Just wanted to let you know that your love of the arts is obvious and to keep up the good work.
