Team Building Event at TreeGO!

Isaac's Way Staff - ready for a challenge!

It was the perfect day to climb some trees!

With a full day scheduled for kitchen equipment upgrades, and a busy bustling summer ahead, Jason and Tina decided to close their Fredericton restaurant and invite the Isaac’s Way Staff to TreeGO Mactaquac for some fun on the ropes.  It was an afternoon of challenges and team building!  Server Jordynn and Chef Jeremy were the first to finish, fearless and determined they made it to the finish line in 90 minutes. Wow! It was 3 hrs for the rest of us…

We were surprised when two waitresses dropped out after the first course (there are four courses in total, each course more challenging than the previous one).  As they headed to their cars, they said fear got the better of them.  The shaky bridges, the extreme heights, the zip lines, the swinging ropes, it is definitely a challenge and we are proud to say 15 staff members made it proudly through!  We encouraged each other with advice and suggestions, we giggled as we watched the slips and swerves, we screamed a little and cheered for those struggling, and we worked our muscles hard.  Sounds a lot like a busy day at the restaurant, doesn’t it gang?  June 7th was a fun break from the norm.  Wonder where we’ll go next?
